to join our high volume medical device manufacturing team in Newark, California.

Medical Device Assembler Manager / Supervisor
seeking a unique opportunity within a highly dynamic company.
Medical Device Assembler Manager / Supervisor Skill & Experience Requirements:
Must have a minimum of 5+ years of Medical Device Assembly Management / Supervisory experience pertaining to the assemble of complex precision components and devices. Past medical device assemble experience pertaining to Optical or Laser Type Medical Devices would be highly transferable and a plus.
Hands on Electrical / Mechanical Assembly experience working within a high volume manufacturing facility or environment is ideal.
Must have strong mechanical aptitude.
Must be skilled in documenting assemble / manufacturing activities, maintaining records, and using common PC programs.
Past work experience working with analytical instruments and assembling medical devices are a plus and preferred.
Knowledge of electronic cabling and hand soldering techniques are a plus.
The ideal and perfect Electrical / Mechanical Medical Device Assembler will be a hardworking, highly reliable, detail oriented, perfectionist with good verbal and written communication skills. Will be well organized, self-motivated and self-directed; and have the ability to multi-task within a fast paced production environment. Must be a team oriented and have a positive “can do” attitude.
Medical Device Assembler Manager / Supervisor Overall Role & Responsibilities: (Will include but are not limited to)
* Manage staff of manual assembly of complex electronic and mechanical components (Medical Devices).
* Follow detailed manufacturing and assembly procedures.
* Run automatic production equipment.
* Must be able to perform electro-mechanical assembly and repair tasks according to specifications and procedures.
* Perform routine device testing and troubleshooting of high precision components and devices.
* Follow good manufacturing practices per company operating procedures.
* Clean, maintain, and operate automated production equipment per SOP's.
* Keep a logbook record of all parts used for electronic assembly, sub-assembly as well as maintenance work.
* Clean and organize workbenches before and after shift.
